The fettuccine Alfredo I had at Cantina do Araújo is certainly one of the best pasta I had, period. Perfectly cooked, creamy, lightly seasoned, great texture. The steak was a bit too much, it could be half in size. Also, one must try their cheese puffs, delicious, buttery, they melt in your mouth. Maybe the restaurant is famous for having celebrities or whatever, I don't care for it, as long as the food is great. Service is very good too and, even though the restaurant was full and my friends and I were in a big group, the food came fast enough and I left satisfied. The prices are salty, indeed, but unsurprising. Overall a great dining experience.

There are billboards for this place all the way from Campinas and I can see why. It's an institution in the city! They have been serving the public for a very long time. The family story of their immigration from portugal is on the wall and it is celebrated. We had pizza and it was very nice. They also have other traditional dishes that I will try next time I return!

Great place. We had a wonderful pizza which was quickly prepared. Service was good and friendly. We walked so we had no hard time parking... That could be a challenge if you are driving.
